Welcome to Year 3

Year 3 consists of two classes and are taught by Miss Jones and Miss Butterworth. Mrs Miller supports both classes with their learning.

The children are encouraged to take an active role in their own learning through a range of approaches, including self and peer assessment and identifying what they already know about an area of the curriculum and what they would like to find out. The children are provided with opportunities to develop their independence and perseverance. These opportunities include making decisions on how to research and present their findings, whilst considering their audience and purpose of their given task.
