Welcome to Reception 

Our Reception classes are taught by Miss Robinson and Mr Fielden. These classes are supported by Miss Sweeney and Mrs Fielding.

In Reception we aim to build on the knowledge and skills gained in the Early Foundation Stage (Nursery) and encourage children to become increasingly independent in the way they think and learn. Our curriculum is planned to meet the requirements of the Early Year Statutory Framework and the needs of our children. Reception provides children with a stimulating indoor and outdoor environment where they can learn through play and guided activities.

Most of all, we want our children to be happy and engage in a curriculum that is creative, fun and stimulating. We believe that children do their best when home and school work in partnership and we look forward to a happy association with you. If you have any questions please come in and ask us.
