Music
Our children will receive a high quality music education, which will engage and inspire them to develop a love of music. Through performing, singing and creating children will develop confidence, creativity and a sense of achievement. All children will have the opportunity to listen and discuss different genres of music, play tuned and untuned percussion instruments and be exposed to correct musical terminology e.g. rhythm, melody, pitch, dynamics.
As well as weekly music lessons and singing assemblies, children in Key Stage 2 have the opportunity to join the School Band playing both brass and wind instruments. The children also have the opportunity to enter a range of competitions and play at a range of events.
